I designed for Euler Motors' proprietary Android-based Infotainment OS. The challenge was to build a scalable digital ecosystem that could adapt across multiple hardware variants (from 7" basic displays to 12" flagship models with ADAS) while maintaining a consistent brand identity and zero-learning-curve ergonomics.

What does Euler do?

Euler Motors is an Indian electric vehicle company dedicated to developing commercial cargo and passenger EVs, with a strong emphasis on advancing technology to drive sustainable mobility.

Challenge

Designing for a vehicle is fundamentally different from designing a mobile app. The UI is fighting for the user's attention against the road, the weather, and the traffic.

We weren't just designing an interface; we were designing a physical interaction model. We had to account for:

Environmental Extremes

Glare washing out colors, and road vibrations making precise tapping impossible.

Dual User

Balancing the needs of the Single Owner (comfort, media, range transparency) and the Fleet Manager (telematics, route compliance, efficiency).

Hardware Fragmentation

The OS needed to scale gracefully from high-end models with ADAS and free internet, down to basic models relying on driver-supplied hotspots and instrument clusters.

Information Architecture: Structuring the Ecosystem

With the physical rules set, we needed to organize a massive amount of vehicle data and applications without overwhelming the driver.

By strictly dividing apps into "Drive-Time" vs. "Downtime" categories, we drastically reduced cognitive load and prevented safety hazards.

The Core Experience: The Adaptive Launcher

The Launcher is the heartbeat of the OS. Drivers spend 80% of their screen time here. Instead of forcing users to app-switch while driving, we designed a glanceable, 3-pane widget system.

Testing and iterating with feedback!

We got users to try these prototypes, observed how they used them, how they felt, and got tons of valuable feedback.

Key Results

Faster Approvals
By digitizing the ECN process and building in automated prompts, engineering changes moved from taking weeks of chasing signatures to being approved in a matter of days.

Drop in Dev-Support Requests
Empowering employees with intuitive, accessible data drastically reduced their reliance on the tech team, freeing developers to focus on core product features.

Reduced Decision Fatigue
Achieved complete transparency across the vehicle lifecycle, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance for audits.

Elimination of "Paper Anxiety"

Managers no longer worried about missing critical manufacturing updates or acting on outdated information, knowing the automated matrix held the entire system accountable.

Have a nice day :)
